Accounts/Audit Manager – Charity & NFP Specialist, Sheffield
Barber McLelland are working as an exclusive recruitment specialist for a leading Sheffield Accountancy firm in their search for an experienced audit manager.
The business is seeking a passionate Audit Manager with experience with NFP and Charities clients who have the ambition to manage their own department and to become an integral part of their work within the region.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supporting the Partnership group, the role will be responsible for the following:
- Managing a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit clients
- Managing the overall service delivery to clients including attending and leading client meetings
- Executing assurance engagements from planning to completion for statutory reporting
- Provision of general business advice to clients
- Manage specialist projects
- Business development in the charity sector
- Tendering for new charity and not-for-profit clients
- Supervision, mentoring and management of audit staff
Skills and Qualities
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with at least 6 years audit experience which includes working with Charity and NFP clients.
Due to the nature of the role, individuals will have the personal qualities and confidence to manage a varied client portfolio with differing client needs, along with supporting and mentoring junior staff members.
