Bookkeeper (Firm of Accountants)
The Role
As a result of the ongoing success, this regional firm of Chartered Accountants and business advisors is looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to work within their Doncaster office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Working within a highly supportive team environment, the Bookkeeper role will manage all aspects of clients’ bookkeeping needs. Duties will include :
- Preparation of client bookkeeping using either Sage, QuickBooks, and/or Xero
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts, including cash flow
- Analytical review of Income, Expenditure and Cashflow
- Prepare quarterly VAT Returns
- Preparation of CIS Returns and reconciliations
- Reconciliation of control accounts
- Be a key point of contact for ad-hoc finance queries
- Build and develop relationships with core bookkeeping clients
Skills and Qualities
- AAT/ICB qualified bookkeeper or QBE Senior Bookkeeper, ideally with experience working for a firm of accountants
- Excellent level of proficiency in Sage Accounts and cloud software (essential)
- A minimum of 10 year’s bookkeeping experience
Salary Package
