Semi Senior Accountant, Independent Firm of Accountants, Sheffield
The Role
Barber McLelland are working in Partnership with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants based in Sheffield who are looking to appoint Semi Senior Accountant to work within there audit and accounts division.

Duties and Responsibilities
The role of Accounts Semi Senior will work within a highly experienced team and will be responsible for the following:
- The preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Assist with client auditing, forming part of an onsite audit team
- Preparation of corporate tax computations
- Preparation of VAT
- Develop skills within the very latest accounting software tools
- Support manager with client issues and queries (fully supported)
Skills and Qualities
The successful applicant must have developed a minimum of 3 years experience working within the accountancy profession and will be AAT qualified or part qualified ACA/ACCA, applications would also be welcome from individuals who have decided not to pursue the formal qualifications route.
Remuneration
- £23,000 – £28,000
