Semi Senior Accountant, Independent Firm of Accountants, Chesterfield
The Role
Barber McLelland is working in partnership with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants based in Chesterfield is looking to appoint Semi Senior Accountant to work within their Business Services division (Small to Medium Owner Managed Businesses)

Duties and Responsibilities
The role of Accounts Semi Senior will work within a highly experienced team and will be responsible for the following:

The preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

Preparation of corporate tax computations
-
Preparation of VAT
-
Develop skills within the very latest accounting software tools, including Xero and Sage
-
Support manager with client issues and queries (fully supported)
Skills and Qualities
The successful applicant must have developed a minimum of 2 years experience working within the accountancy profession and will be part-qualified AAT, ACA/ACCA, applications would also be welcome from individuals who have decided not to pursue the formal qualifications route.
Remuneration

£23,000 – £27,000
