Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager, Chesterfield
The Role
Barber McLelland are working in partnership with a highly successful and dynamic Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Chesterfield. Due to the high level of success which the firm has achieved in recent years along with future succession planning, the firm is looking to appoint an ambitious qualified accountant for the role of Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager.
The firm is seen as one of the regions leading independent accountancy practices, this is based upon an excellent reputation as an employer, their working culture and also the high-level service which they provide to their clients.
The business is looking to appoint an ambitious qualified ACA/ACCA accountant who is seeking a progressive role within a rapidly growing, dynamic business.
Duties and Responsibilities
The role will work closely with the Audit/Accounts senior leadership team, supporting both new and existing clients, with responsibility for managing a highly diverse portfolio and being one of the main points of contact for these clients.
The business is looking for an individual with strong audit skills and more rounded, commercial accounting skills.
Skills and Qualities
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent and will have experience working within an audit and accounting capacity with a National or Leading Independent Firm of Accountants, key to the appointment is to recruit an individual that demonstrates an ambitious, dynamic and forward-thinking approach to match that of the firm.
Remuneration
- Salary circa £35,000 – £40,000
